HAVERHILL — Tools worth about $1,800 were stolen from a Jackson Street apartment building that is under renovation, police said.

The owner of Goodie Home Improvement told police his firm is renovating the property and that he and his employees left tools in a back bedroom that was locked.

He told police that sometime after 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, nail uv lamp nail uv lamp someone entered the home and stole the tools.

Police advised the owner of the company to check local tool and pawn shops to see if any of the items had been sold to the shops.

The break and theft were reported at 9 a.m. Wednesday, police said.
